The Biscuit Factory
This is The Biscuit Factory, which is the largest commercial art gallery in the UK. It was opened in 2002 and was previously a biscuit factory (as the mam suggests!) The building was originally a Victorian warehouse built in 1870 and still has some of the original features. The gallery is free to visit and if you decide to buy some artwork you can buy it and pay monthly without any interest. There is also a cafe and a fancy looking restaurant that I would like to visit sometime in future.
Before visiting the Biscuit Factory we visited the city centre and faced the sales. I love dresses by Joules and bought a couple half price in the sale- success. It was super busy so we stuck to Fenwicks and John Lewis before quiting and heading to Cafe Royal for coffee and cake instead.
It was cold but sunny, luckily we missed the snow that hit my friends down south in Yorkshire and elsewhere.
