Chocolate Crispy Cakes

Day 2 of being a domestic goddess,so not my role in life! Yesterday I covered ( and then cleaned) the kitchen in icing sugar as I made Carys's birthday cake. Today it was chocolate crispy cakes. A lot less messy, thankfully. These are for her party bags on Saturday instead of traditional cake. There are two reasons for this, the first is that one of her friends is allergic to eggs, wheat and nuts, and I didn't want him to not have cake in his take home bag. the second is that it means that I can have the bags done pre-party and won't have to worry about slicing up cake, wrapping it and putting it in the bags while I could be enjoying watching the kids enjoy the party.

Dont worry though, she will have a birthday cake to blow candles out on. Domestic goddess day 3 is booked for Friday evening/night depending on how long it takes and yes I am sure I will cover the kitchen again in a light covering of icing sugar.
