Christmas Day

Christmas morning was full of happy, excited voices as stockings were discovered by everyone on the ends of beds! We then breakfasted all together on cold gammon, fresh pineapple, croissants, champagne and orange juice! This has become a family tradition since we lived in Australia!
Christmas Day and a little later, with the turkey cooking nicely, the present unwrapping was taken in stages, to allow the children time to enjoy their presents - and the cooks to prepare the Christmas Lunch!
We had a wonderful day, all ten of us having a great time together!
(There were traces of snowy footsteps on the hearth.......)
