Perfect Winter's day

A lovely long, much needed lie in this morning after all the Christmas excess of the previous two days. We awoke to the perfect weather. Minus 5, blue sky and sunshine, with a fresh sprinkling of snow overnight. 

Almost 3 hours spent outside today in total, with a 7 mile walk around the countryside of Ylinen. Perfect. 

I absolutely adore traditional Nordic architecture. I cannot resist snapping the many beautiful, colourful wooden houses around here.
