Tis Christmas!

Lovely to have both daughters plus boyfriend M home for Christmas and for my mum, walkingS and R to join us for the day. There was much laughter as we sat outside in the sun, enjoying cool refreshing champers, an assortment of nuts, ginger, nougat, chocolates and so much more! Later we savoured bbq food and salads finishing off with a mighty berry pavlova and brandy snaps.
 
Our thoughts were with other family members, my brother and his family joined with my cousin and her family along with mum's sister who is visiting, another cousin, who is also celebrating her birthday, basking on Ohope Beach in the sunny Bay of Plenty with her family - Happy Birthday S! And hubby's parents and brother and sister in Masterton in the North Island. We are all spread around yet by phone, facebook or texting we all heard from one another thanks to modern technology.
 
This is now a backblip as I uploaded this image last night and for some unknown reason I managed to delete it and have only just returned, this time with a light vignette around us, creating more of a Christmas feel.
