My haven't you grown.

At all family functions the grandparents and aunts and uncles always say to the kids "haven't you grown". Well I said it to to these pied stilts this morning. Now juveniles, the two at the rear must be the chicks we saw only a month ago. Their mother flew in squawking but not flying at us. They look big enough to look after themselves but mum thinks otherwise. Mr S was my walk mate this morning. The coolest place to be on a warm, muggy Boxing Day.
