Grateful AND Guilty?
Perfect Christmas Day - sunshine (see it on Great-Granny's arm?), stockings, croissants, church (packed, with loads of laughter, kids, and fun), huge lunch, secret Santa, crackers, long walk, games, cheese and biscuits (and smoked salmon, which must be one of the best foods ever!), and home again to watch our gracious Queen's speech on You tube...
Thirteen for dinner - perfect number. Four generations on one side, three on the other. Grateful for such a family. Walk was in the dark, through two Parks - didn't see another soul - quite beautiful with the crescent moon and stars, and city lights in the distance.
But, very aware of those who lack some or all of this, and for whom we've done precious little this year ... can you be grateful and guilty at the same time??
