Many hands...

Here is Christmas dinner being cooked,  and Luke learning how to make pastry. No animals were harmed in the making of this meal,  but a lot of spinach was wilted by Sarah. It will be mixed with ricotta,  layered with spiced butternut squash and baked in a pie. 
The sun shone for Christmas Day so D and I enjoyed a lovely walk and Joe replenished the log pile. Sadly,  he and Matt have to work in the morning so they will both be leaving us. It was nice to have a full house while it lasted. 
(and we still have the pie to look forward to) :-)
