Hold on!

A little  surprise for Sarah when Matt arrived at 2am...we had been keeping his visit secret. I did tell her that magical things can happen on Christmas Eve, but she never expected that he would drive up from Portsmouth after work... 
This morning was sunny! so we decided to postpone Christmas preparations and go to the beach instead. The RSPB reserve at Mersehead was almost deserted and we had a lovely walk, lots of fresh air. 
Back home for a Christingle service and tonight we are out for a family meal at the Green Tea Room before Watch night service in Moniaive. Matt is asleep in front of the fire..
