Christmas Eve with the Haltwhistle Walkers

28 of us set off for a walk this morning. After the constant rain of the last few days, it was a relief to walk in bright sunshine. The strong wind was behind us most of the way and the showers stayed away until the last 30 minutes.

We had a great time.  I could not resist showing you the group photo, best seen large. Audrey is just about to fall over (front row), Maureen is wearing my sheep(ish) hat, one of Wills' hat flaps has a life of its' own and so on.

After the walk, we went to Maureen and Brian's for drinks and nibbles. (Very good they were too.)  Can't wait for our New Year's Eve walk.
