The North Western Fells.

We got a super view of The North Western fells this morning as we walked up Dodd ( which is on the western side of Skiddaw...)

The cuckoo was singing loudly and the sun was shining brightly!

It is a 2 hour round trip, and is highly recommended, as is The Sawmill Cafe in the car park! Across the way from the car park is Mirehouse. Once again, the house and gardens are a delight to see!

To the left of the blip is Keswick, and to the right is Bassenthwaite.
