Santa's other Grotto!

Me and hub have been so busy today, firstly walked down into town to pick up the last few bits.......got a bit wet along the way!

Mulligatawny soup and a sandwich for lunch, then on to putting up the wreath and lights around our porch, hanging up all the Christmas cards we've received, and a bit of sparkle in the kitchen! Hub finished the last of the ironing from ours hols, whilst I cleaned the whole of the downstairs, except the kitchen! No point in doing that until tomorrow night, when there's Christmas ham to cook, stuffing to make, pavlova to assemble!

Needless to say, twice I thought about getting out into the garden in search of a blip, but every time I thought about it, it was raining :-(

No, this is not Santa's Grotto, but our study.....you can hardly get in the room for presents! I have made a start grouping together the presents for Christmas Day.........4 piles, one for each granddaughter, plus our own children and their respect other halves, mum, sis and brother in law, and one or two for me and hub too :-) I think this little lot will require a good few trips up and down the stairs on Christmas morning! good job we are not expecting any of our visitors until after midday :-)
