'real life light sabres"

... or so the 2 boys think they look in this photo ("will we be your blip mum?").  They were both dressed as jedi's this morning. C was telling me he really needs some jedi robes (not the brown cloak with the hood  Mum, the robes that they wear all the time).  I had to convince him out of his black thermals and his brother out of his jedi robe coloured shorts and t-shirt to head to Whitmuir  for coffee with a  friend (and a cuddle of her 3 nth old baby) and to collect a "seasonal box" of veggies. Usually i let them wear whatever they like, they will be a longtime grown up and have expectations on them.  However, today they both looked just a bit too daft so i insisted.  

After lunch I exercised them with a walk to the lost garden.  Having 2 boys is like having dogs, they need exercising each day - makes sure you get out, or they bounce off the walls!  We haven't been to the lost garden for ages, it's come a long way in a year.
