Squidge's last day in nursery for a fortnight, I'd had enough of work (not quite finished but thought sod it!) so Angus and I had lunch out at San Carlo in Manchester.
Beautiful meal - a Caprese salad to die for and two lobster tagliatelle washed down with Chablis. Italian food is the best.
We dressed up, slunk into the leather booths and just chatted about our year, next year and Squidge (of course).
It was so nice to have some us time. But there's steam coming off the debit (and credit) cards and we're both exhausted tonight so it's time to pull the drawbridge in and light a fire now.....Christmas is finally here...
