Adam's Peak

Despite the heavy rain Mr J & I sumitted & got back down Adam's Peak which is 2,243m in less than 4 hours that even the locals were convinced we could not have gone all the way to the top.

The mountain is not Sri Lanka's highest but certainly its most holiest to Buddhist, Hindu's, Muslims and Christians.

The stunning views from the top were shrouded in cloud and mist but it was still a great achievement going to the top.

Having climbed 10,200 steps I think we will sleep very well tonight.
