Collage of Herons

Another refreshing walk to sooth the tired souls so to say for Big R and me...and for the hooligans a blissful romp along the semi-muddy mole pile ridden trails.  On top of continuous struggles for R with the county concerning his retirement health care lapses, we got news of his Dad being hospitalized....seemingly mostly related to dehydration issues.  We are keeping close tabs via our D.C. niece who is back there for the holidays and is a physicians assistant so is very knowledgeable! That is good.  
  So more birds today....yep:)  the Herons seem to be already scoping out the nests from last year...rather early it seems, but several are back and claiming some territory.  It makes for good images because the trees are so bare at this time of year.
