Broken Arm!
We went to our friend, Noel's, 60th birthday party at his house. We were there for about 20 minutes when Spence was playing on their stairs up to their first floor. Kaz was in the middle of telling him to come down off the stairs and then he tumbled down from about the fourth step and landed on his elbow on the tiled floor. He cried and was obviously in pain and after about 20 minutes when he hadn't calmed down and wouldn't be distracted by anything including chocolate, Kaz took him to the emergency department of the hospital.
They had to wait ages for the results of the xray and it turned out he had fractured the bottom of his humerous and they weren;t sure whether he needed surgery to manipulate it to put it back into the correct position and then pins to keep it there. They decided to just put him in a collar and cuff sling and hope gravity made the bone go back to the correct position!
I stayed at the party with Joti, and Kaz and Spence came back to Noels house about 2am, so missed the whole thing! We ended up staying at Noels because it was so late.
Here is a photo of the xray, you can see a bit of bone poking out from the left side at the end of the humerous (the top bone from your shoulder to your elbow) and then the fracture runs diagonally down from the break.
