The wrong turkey

No this is a banana muffin as we had some old bananas.  Very nice they are too.
 
In all of the fun leading up to Christmas I failed to order a turkey so I bought one today.  It’s not an organic so everyone says that it will be a disappointment.  In an ideal world I would have bought an organic one as I would have loved the turkey to have had a wonderful life before it was killed. But in the many years that I have been cooking a turkey the first ones wouldn’t have been organic and I seem to remember them being wonderful.
 

If anyone has any hints and tips for cooking a turkey or suggestions on their favourite accompaniments please let me know.
