Fittie Breakfast
The day is a bit overcast but neither excessively windy nor cold. Breakfast took us to the beach to the Inversnecky. The repast complete we had to walk it off and so proceeded to the village next to the harbour.
Whoever owns this corner plot in the former fishing village likes to feed the birds. The bush is full of birds who have to go no further than the garden feeders. Judging by the amount of noise they make they are very happy with this arrangement. Unlike ourselves who managed several thousand steps during the course of the day, the resident colony of birds barely has to flap a wing.
Later on we adjourned to Hazlehead Park where we caught a brief glimpse of some reindeer, Santa's helpers and Santa himself We even caught an even briefer glimpse of the Lord Provost as he left in his official limousine.
Seeing the reindeer reminded me that earlier in the day I had heard on the BBC that reindeer makes a very nice steak. We did not tell the reindeen we met at the park in case they became stressed at the thought of what might happen to some of their relations.
