His Majesty's Theatre

Off to His Majesty's Theatre this afternoon to see the matinee performance of Beauty and the Beast. I must admit I did not recall the story on which this pantomime is based. I found a synopsis of the story later, and I think the rudiments of the story were on display. The star of the show is Elaine C Smith, or was it Miley Cyrus on the wrecking ball as interpreted by Elaine C Smith? Possibly even, it was the scary Kraken which soared over the audience just before the interval.

After the performance we stopped off at Under the Hammer for an aperitvo before dinner at Ciao Napoli.

The photograph shows His Majesty, with a seagull on his head, this being an almost permanent feature as it is rare to see him without a seagull.
