Broken

I slipped over in the bathroom this morning and have broken my little toe! I was so upset at the time, worrying that I'd done the baby some damage (although I fell on my side, and and have ample natural cushioning), so Mark took me straight to hospital, where the toe was looked at, diagnosed as broken and immediately strapped up, and then my obstetrician did a quick scan to reassure me that the baby is absolutely fine, everything is in place and no harm done. I'm so grateful, but it took me a long time today to get over the idea that I could have hurt my little passenger. Hobbling around for a couple of weeks is something I can handle just fine.
