Solitary Tree

To kick of my first full day back home in Yorkshire I decided to go for a long walk out of the village and over the fields and in a big loop back into the village past the farm where I used to work. It was nice and invigorating, especially on the higher section. 

There is a row of trees along Gorse Lane (but no Gorse Bushes!) and I like their shapes and isolation. I have decided to blip this one, but I think I could make a triptych out of them.

I've just come in from the village Carol Concert at the Church where we had a good sing song and caught up with some old friends.

Will catch up with journals this evening and in the morning.
