Mairie, Vulaines sur Seine

I was busy at home most of the day, and night fell before I had a blip, but as we were returning home from our church home group, we passed by the village mairie (town hall) which is beautifully lit up for the season, and I decided that would serve as my blip. Our home group usually starts with just a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit (cookie), then we get down to our study. but this was our final meeting before Christmas, so we start with a glass of champagne and a few nibbles! For our study we looked at some of the major characters in the Christmas story - Mary, the shepherds and the wise men. Even though the bible passages are so well known to us, we were still able to look at them in a fresh way, and take away some new thoughts. An enjoyable evening of Christian fellowship.
