Life In Wales

Southern Lights

I've always wanted to go to Norway to see the Northern Lights, but tonight we had our own display on the South Coast,  the colours were amazing!

Alan and I went into London early this morning to meet our friends Karen & Andy at Winter Wonderland.  We were supposed to be going for a full day but with mum still not well we didn't want to leave her too long, so we said that we'd go early to have a look round the Christmas Market, and we had tickets for the ice festival at 1pm, so we said we'd stay until we'd seen that, and then head home.

I'm actually glad though that we did go early as we were able to browse the stalls easily and had a good look around. It was really good and the weather was perfect. It was lovely to see Karen & Andy too, and I was going to blip something from Winter Wonderland but once I'd taken lots of photos of the sky, it had to be this today.

We got back into Brighton about 3.30pm, took the boys out for a walk and then had a relaxing night at home.  Alison and Tony called round to drop off a Christmas card - we won't be seeing them again until the New Year as they're going to Goa for Christmas, the lucky things!

The other thing I did last night was wrap Bobbie in wrapping paper - Elaine my friend who was the boys' breeder posted a video of her wrapping one of her dogs in xmas paper, so I decided I'd try it too.  I tried with Milou, but he wouldn't sit still, but Bobbie was a willing subject.  I've posted the video on  You Tube, and I've tried to add the link, but it doesn't seem to work.  Here's the link if you fancy a laugh:
