Turkey Plucking

I have eaten Martin's organic, free range turkeys in the past but have not been around for the workdays at his place when they get plucked. No excuses this year, 21 of them killed, plucked and hung ready for the Christmas eve. Bantry market, they are all ordered in advance. I certainly didn't enjoy the task and I had to avert my eyes for the actual killing bit which was quick but I didn't feel squeamish either. I haven't had a problem about eating a little meat but do have a real problem about factory farming. However personally I enjoy a predominantly vegetarian diet.
