Refueling

His tuba. Actually, he's having his lunch, but when he plays his tuba, it emits fire which is quite spectacular, but difficult to photograph.

Diana and I went into London today - a chance for her to relax after what has been a difficult few months, and an especially difficult 3 weeks. We had a great time as we once again visited Rope Walk market which meant that I got to eat another salt beef sandwich at Monty's deli and we spent more than 2 hours in the tapas bar drinking and eating. Neither to excess - it'a about quality not quantity and just passing the time. I did finish off our time there by trying a selection of the Serrano hams which Diana ordered. She wouldn't tell me how much it cost but sad to say, it wasn't worth it. Don't get me wrong, it was nice just not exceptional. I think many nations, ourselves included revere food that has been customary for generations but to outsiders, it is often just not that good.

Sitting at home now waiting for a call from Luke to say that he has arrived and wants picking up from the airport. The family will be whole again - for a week at least.
