It's beginning to taste a lot like Christmas!

Today's task was the annual mince pie bake.
Question: Why are they called "mince pies" when they contain zero mince?
This morning we drove up to see MaggieD's Mum and visit a friend who has just moved into a new house. We also met another friend of Mag's and had a right good catch up. This afternoon we took Andrew up to the train station then had a run round to try and catch the sunset. However we were a bit too late and it wasn't all that spectacular anyway.
So it just had to be those mince pies. And, even if I say it myself, they are very tasty indeed!
"Strictly, the Finale" has just started - who is going to lift that glitter-ball?
Will I stay awake for it? I think I will.
