Stubble field

Although we have had fine, bright weather for the last couple of days there is still a lot of water laying around. The weird thing is that our grass is still growing, unheard of in December.

A week today and Christmas will be over, doesn't time fly. Have wrapped my last present today and delivered my cards in the village so feeling quite sanctimonious!!  Chaos will ensue tomorrow when I start cooking. It is a standing joke in our house that I have to dust the cobwebs of the mixer every year a couple of days before the big event!
