No prizes for guessing where this Christmas tree decoration came from!

We had a memorable holiday in Australia, ten years ago, ostensibly to watch the rugby world cup, but really to see the country. We went with some friends spent three weekends together in Sydney watching the rugby and then zoomed off to various places during the week. What a fantastic place, swimming on the great barrier reef and ogoling at the yachts in Perth. 

What can one say about Sydney and its harbour and of course Bondi beach, wonderful.

I know it's ten years ago but we did actually win the world cup - England that is, although being married to a Welshman, it was a bit of a grudging celebration on his side!
