Riwaka oystercatcher

At the Riwaka river mouth. Full tide, a nor easterly breeze putting a ruffle on the water, overcast but warm. So many things to take photos of on a small piece of sand measuring about 20 metres by 10.
The oyster catcher, that had just flown at me, against the rushes was the pick of the bunch.
