Brief moments

The weather has been foul today, foul, that is, except for five brief minutes in the late afternoon.

We are lucky living here in that no matter how awful the weather has been throughout the day, we often have a decent sunset. Today looks like being one of those days but I can't help but ponder whether I'd like my few minutes of beauty at the start of the day to motivate me or at the end to compensate me. I guess the answer says a lot about what sort of person I am: what would your answer be?
