A quiet moment

I do like a day filled with variety. Fortunately. School run, collect car from service, household chores. Meet client in the City for very lovely Christmas lunch. Do some proper, too much walking, Christmas shopping in Piccadilly, Regents Street and Oxford Street. Retreat North for quiet moment with my book before Carl arrives and we see this dysfunctional family dark Christmas comedy.

After the madness of Oxford Street (including a shop pumping out fake snow onto the street) this feels like another world.
