Mummy on a Mission

Every girl should have one...or two...or maybe three!

Had errands to run for school this morning on my day off, but that was ok as i had a couple of last minute Christmas gifts to buy too. So I dropped Munchkin 1 off at school and headed straight to our local revamped outlet centre. I was there for 9am, got the first parent space. However, after tentatively wandering in to said retail zone, no shops were open, and they weren't going to until 10 am! So headed for one of the coffee establishments that were open, bumped into another work colleague, N, who had done the exact same thing. Little Miss E and I enjoyed having the newly kitted out play area to ourselves, dancing and running around to the talking, singing, musical arch. Once the clock struck 10 am , straight to a well known outlet that sells comfortable, yet ugly, colourful rubber shoes to purchase Little Missy something she can wear round the pool in a weeks time. Done. Then a few work items, then I found a new shop had opened. It does particularity nice dresses, especially if you are gong t weddings and the like. So I HAD to walk on by go in. A little rummage later, dress selected, because it was just me and it was just about explainable to Mr c a bargain. I tried it on, it fitted perfectly, even in the smaller size, so it said buy me, buy me! And I did. So heres what I will most likely be wearing on New Years Eve amidst sand and the Red Sea, modelled by my mannequin, Daphne.

Managed to catch up with a lovely friend C, while waiting on Munchkin 1 at piano. It was great as I hadn't seen her for an age and her daughter, G, will babysit on Saturday so I can go over to the long scheduled ladies Cheese and wine night.

I am extremely cross with the other half, not only is he away, but he's staying in Niagra Falls tonight, and....he has moved the blooming' Christmas presents in the loft so I can't reach them! Last week on my epic shop and wrap session, I placed everything neatly sorted in to relevant bags and put them just inside the hatch so I could get to them when needed. Now I can't and I can't send various ones up to my in laws. Worst case scenario, if he doesn't get back in time for Christmas, the kids wont have gifts either, because Santa left them in the loft!! Grrrr Maybe I don't feel so guilty about the dress now :)
