I had been baking and Campbell decided to rustle up some meringues with some surplus egg whites. He did a damn good job for a first attempt - they were light and crisp whilst slightly chewy in the middle and nowhere near as yellow as this pic.

As sure as eggs is eggs the ancient meringue joke was chortled over....

Is that a doughnut or am a rang?
