Craigmillar Castle

Had an appointment at the NRI this morning and was looking for a decent blip in the area as the weather was nice but set to turn wet later. I have never been to Craigmillar Castle before but according to Historic Scotland it is one of Scotland's best preserved medieval castles the towerhouse dating back to late 14th Century. Mary Queen of Scots was a visitor here. Apparently in the late 19th Century an upright human skeleton was found walled up in the dungeons! This is a place worth a few more summer blips I think!
