Plumbers toolkit!

Our plumber has connected up all of the radiators today so we have full central heating throughout the whole house now. He's still turning up charred floorboards - I wonder how much of the house the fire affected?

We've taken advantage of the day to paint walls upstairs and we're hoping that D & G will be able to lay the floor and finish off the front bedroom fairly quickly.

Our electrician has also been today and he's almost finished installing sockets and switches. He has still to connect through to the supply on our side of the house.

Thank you for your good wishes for my dad. My mum, sister & brothers have been to see him today and they say he's doing OK. We're expecting more news tomorrow after the consultants visit. The good news is that blood tests show it's not cancer.
