Happy Accident

I was taking some close-up photos of the flowers in the vase this morning and glimpsed the edge of my bargain sketch book (£1.99 - couple of year ago for an A3 pad).

As I panned the camera I saw the edge of the drawing pad through the lens and thought I'd take some out of focus shots as I liked the colour. I'd focused up a bit by the time I took this one and when I saw the writing I felt it very appropriate for today.

My good news is that I've almost completed the online professional development unit I've been writing (though I've still got to add the case-studies which will be much easier). I've so much lacked the motivation to get this finished and have gone round and round in circles. The only motivation in the end was financial! I'm not sure whether I'm seeing it in the form of a new camera body or a table-top printing press. But it's nearly decision time.
