Very happy to see that mythical yellow ball in the sky this weekend. Let's hope it lasts...

We took Karen's dad out to Sunday lunch at the Grand Hotel. It's a Brighton landmark. I must walk or run past it at least three times a week. I haven't been in for years, in that way that you don't bother when something is on your doorstep.

We heard that they now do a really good roast lunch so we decided to try it out. It was brilliant. We had a table with a sea view, the service was great and the food was excellent and really good value. This could become a habit.
