A brilliant blip opportunity --

missed!

Our monthly 'Pick and Mix' family service this morning was based on the Ascension. There are always a variety of children's activities included and today we were encouraged to all take a balloon and either write on it or decorate it. At the end of the service we went outside for prayers and released the balloons to accompany them. they were orange and yellow and quite a spectacle. It was very windy so one of them may reach you! Of course my camera was at home!

So here you have this lovely Oleander which Chris 'blagged' (his word) from Wilsden Walker - thank you S. It has spent 6 months in our conservatory and it has got 4 flowers!

It is going outside tonight as we are moving every thing movable for a new carpet to be fitted tomorrow in the lounge, dining room and conservatory! Cupboards with glass, china , books, CD's, DVDs have all had to be emptied and the PC disconnected. Luckily I can still use the lap top. Never again!

This time tomorrow it should all be done but it will take an age to put it all back!
