Issigeac

Today we managed to visit our first chateau this trip. We're generally off the beaten track, hunting down many of them. But this clearly isn't a chateau. We stopped for lunch in the delightful town of Issigeac. It is a pretty little medieval town which once had a wall right around it. The wall has morphed into a road but otherwise it looks as if time has forgotten most of it. This house is a stand out among many.

The Chateau de Lanquais was also fantastic.
