Bergerac

We spent a lovely day in Bergerac today and where else would you expect to find a statue (or two) to Cyrano? This one was made in 2007 and, I think, looks marvellous.

We had lunch at the Enchanted Mushroom Restaurant and took a cruise aboard the Seize the Day flat bottomed boat. We saw LOTS of black winged kites (the birds not the things on string) in the clear blue sky.

Fortunately, it wasn't as hot as yesterday because I didn't wear my shorts.
