Oh why don't they hurry up!

We thought this morning we would let the Herefords out to graze again since the grass has grown and the fields (heavy clay) have pitched off after the rainstorms. Poor things they were out in March and then back inside for most of April during the bad weather. They knew something was afoot as they were making a din for most of the morning and as soon as their feet hit the turf they became quiet.

The young beef animals nearby will be the next to go but this will entail a lorry to move them to the other end of the farm. They have never been out to graze before and they would have to travel along the lane. T has to make sure the fencing is secure first of all.

Long may this weather last but wishful thinking I guess!
