On their way

T has had four of his old college chums staying a couple of nights. They are all in farming and travelled from as far away as Norfolk, Sussex and two from Cornwall. The reason was the Grassland event yesterday held at the Bath and West Showground near Shepton Mallet. There was much grass- related machinery on display but none of it was working owing to the horrendous rainstorms sweeping the county. The ground was saturated. Nevertheless they enjoyed being together and had a very good night out afterwards! The discussions rarely strayed away from agriculture and the beer tasted good!

The boys left late morning, giving last night's enjoyment time to settle I guess! Tess enjoys the company but likes life to get back to normal, feeling a little lost on occasions.
