New stuff

Popped into town at lunchtime today (how you do, in between showers) and finally got round to picking up some new stuff from TK Maxx (other shops are available... etc.).

I guess I should be a bit embarrassed to share my excitement, but I'm not. I'm very excited indeed.

I picked up two new non-stick pans to replace the two non-stick pans that I have now which have completely lost any non-stick properties and could now be better described as guaranteed-to-stick-pans!

And the best purchase of the day was the set of 4 Jamie Oliver glasses, as I just adore the shape of them and these will replace the few old remaining glass tumblers that I've had since forever. Oh, I know they are supposed to be 45cl wine glasses, but they are chunky and I want to use them for water or juice or smoothie glasses instead.

After all, once you get to my age, you've gotta enjoy the moment and stop saving things for best, eh?

(Feeling a bit pathetic today, as I seem to have picked up a cold!)
