Another alley

This time it's Porridge Pot Alley just off Millmead.

Rumour has it that it actually used to be called "Piddle Pot Alley" after the method employed in emptying chamber pots, since the alley slopes down towards the river. But I'm not sure how true it is. Never mind, I always think of that anyway, each and every time I walk down there.

(Yet another damp and dismal day - but good to get out at lunchtime with the drizzle on my face to freshen me up.)
