CROQUET LUNCH

The wireless signal, much like the weather is a bit hit & miss here in Alnwick so I hope this blip finds its home on 3G, seem to have spent most of my afternoon behind the wheel of the car so had little opportunity to admire the countryside, before heading up the A1 (the new bit is very nice) we popped into Appleton's in Ripon to pick up piping hot pork pies to have for lunch, stopped at The Spa Hotel to gobble them down and took a few snaps of the professional croquet players, we used to live in one of the apartments next door and the hotel gardens were the view from our lounge window, the best of the photos are on my camera but without a signal I can't post one of those so I hope this trusty iPhone one will do.
