WE ARE NOT AMUSED

I shouldn't have thought that Queen Victoria was too happy when they erected this office block in the centre of Harrogate, its rather imposing & can be seen from about ten miles away in certain directions, Victorias monument is on a slightly smaller scale but still a magnificent edifice to the great woman. The tower of glass has been renovated in the past few years, it really use to be quite an ugly building, today I tend to think it adds something to the town centre, think of Leeds & how the construction of the past decade has brought buzz to that great city, perhaps its time for Harrogate to stop being quite so genteel!
