The Pride of Sefton 2

Stopping off on the canal gave the opportunity to get a picture of this lovely broad beam barge. It was built at a cost of approximately £110,000, with funds raised by a combination of charitable grants, events, and donations from both individuals and businesses.

Sailing on the Leeds Liverpool Canal it provides canal journeys for community groups and organisations for people who are deprived in some way or another - through disability, age or social isolation. All this from the website on the roof of the boat.
