cherish what remains

dwain's garden

Went for a 6 am walk around the University of Arkansas campus with Linda and Walt this morning. We were at the farmer's market by 7. Then breakfast with Linda's brother, niece and soon to be nephew-in-law.

Dwain, a faithful Fayetteville Underground First Thursday patron, attended my show reception at the ACO on Thursday night. Knowing my work these days includes a lot of leaves, he mentioned he has twenty varieties of Japanese maples in his yard and invited me over to take a few clippings.

I took a lot of photos too. It was difficult to choose only one to blip. I may have to succumb to signing up for a photosharing service just so I can show them off.
