Karoo National Park - South Africa

This was the second place we stayed in on our road trip down from Joburg, and what a place. Just got in before 5pm and the gates being shut. Set a braai up and cooked our own Karoo lamb chops drinking wine under perfect clear night skies. Never seen so many stars.

Went for a walk the next morning looking for black rhinos, which have been introduced back to the Karoo. Did not see one but saw loads of other animals.

Great stopover and only cost £50.
